Here are my latest favs from the past month :
An amazing trip to a wonderful city. I did not expect to find such a beauty and vegan-friendly place !
I finally found the vegan version of Ben & Jerry’s PB & Cookies ice-cream at Merkur Markt. And finished it within a day as it was tasty! I also found vegan croissants… from a can ! Vienna, I love you, I did not expect to find such weird stuff when I decided to book a flight to visit you. These croissants are ok, but not as good as fresh ones from a French bakery of course. The best vegan bakery in Paris is VG Pâtisserie (123 Boulevard Voltaire, 75011 Paris) by the way.
Muso Koroni is the vegan place to stop by when it comes to anything not related to food (ie: vegan shoes, everything is fair and organic). Find it at Josefstädter Str. 33, 1080 Wien or online.
Mumok and Leopold museums are next to each other, in the Museum Quartier, inner city. If you are on your way there, stop by the Photoautomat to get a powerful yet minimalist souvenir for only 2€ ! This photo booth is the same we can find everywhere in Berlin by the way.
Fashion is everywhere for any kind of budget. Zara, Hermès, Saint Laurent, Urban Outfitters, H&M, Chanel, Monki… You name it.
Loved the Monki mirror (Mariahilfer Str. 52, 1070 Wien).
Veganz store closed a few months ago but I still managed to find some of their products in grocery stores. I’ll see more of what they got next time I go back to Berlin.
Architecture in Vienna is one of my favorite and reminds me of Paris. It’s sophisticated, details are everything and it’s also all about off-white façades with dark roofs.
Avenue Montaigne still in the Christmas spirit. I loved how they decorated the street this year with tons of little lights. It’s like gold sprinkles everywhere by night.
La Grande Epicerie de Paris has opened a second store in the 16th, in Passy neighborhood (80 Rue de Passy, 75016). It’s big, yet smaller than the original (38 Rue de Sèvres, 75007). It’s a great place to stop by to get fancy food, nice bottles of water and champagne for instance.
I started 2 journals this year : one personal and organized I keep at home in which I write down “final ideas/goals”, astrology stuff, daily emotions and so on. And a messy one I carry with me in which I write down random ideas about travels, daily work, photos, places to go, things to research, quotes etc. I am in love with the idea of getting a perspective of all I did/thought every month. It helps a lot to stay focus, keep faith in what I love to do, remember the positive aspects of life etc.
